We've had decades of Democrat control in NY-13 and too many families are still struggling.
Our children are leaving school without the skills they need to succeed in a modern economy. Violence and distrust have strained relationships between neighbors, businesses and our youth. Longtime residents are being priced out of the communities they helped build by colonizing gentrifiers. For too long, politicians have promised “free things” while delivering fake smiles. They expand the government, reward friends and allies, and create fewer pathways for upward mobility for those of us trying to survive.
The Bronx and Harlem become a dumping ground for dangerous individuals who accept wages for less and receive more support than those of us who have struggled with affording to live in NYC. Darializa Avila Chevalier promises freedom, but will only offer you chains.
